DARE to Excel – The 4Ds to Excellence

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.  The fears are paper tigers.  You can do anything you decide to do.   ~ Amelia Earhart ~

The Only Limit is You. Wouldn’t you agree that our greatest enemies are always our own doubts and fears? But luckily, the real truth is: that there are no limits to what we can do, be, or have in life… except for the limits we place on ourselves.   So how about excelling at anything … here are what I consider the Four Ds to Excellence.  DARE to Excel.

DESIRE:  First, you must have an intense burning desire to become excellent at one thing (whatever that might be for you) and make an unwavering commitment that nothing can stop you from reaching your desired outcome.  However desire is not enough.

DECISION:  You must make a decision that you are going to do whatever it takes to become excellent.  And that means: make every effort, overcome any obstacles that come your way and tame any fears and doubts that might creep in.

DISCIPLINE:  You must have the discipline to plan, to prepare and to execute, over and over again, until you achieve mastery.  There are no shortcuts to excellence.

DETERMINATION: You must have the determination to persevere and to turn any setback into comeback and any obstacle into opportunity.  Your attitude and belief in yourself are the keys to achieve mastery at anything in life.

The rewards are awesome!  Dare Yourself.

Here is to being Daring – to living life with passion and gusto, not caution!  The Daring is for Women Who Dare to Be!
