DARE to Slow Down in Order to Speed Up
I have been so busy lately between my full time position, new product launches, events and training with Supreme Social Media and with building a new home for The Daring Woman™ and launching a new site (The Daring Woman™ Global Alliance) and Telesummit (details will be announced soon).
But this weekend I stopped everything and eloped on a 3-day romantic weekend gateway with my husband. We flew to Las Vegas, we’re not into gambling but we love to see great shows and to eat at good restaurants. We saw “BELIEVE” the show from the magician/illusionist Criss Angel in partnership with The Cirque du Soleil and The Blue Man Group. What a treat!
It was so great to get away with my husband. It gave us the opportunity to spend some quality time together and to rekindle our passion. Plus it gave me a chance to regroup and re-energize. Don’t you find that when you walk away, even if it’s only for a short period of time, it allows you regain a new perspective? I know it’s true for me. The pearl of wisdom: Sometimes you have to DARE to Slow Down in Order to Speed Up.
A Daring Tip: Dare to Reawake Your Personal Passions
Ask Yourself: When was the last time, you felt truly happy and alive? What were you doing at the time? Who were you with?
Once you’ve recalled the activity, the feeling … then each week dare to set aside time to pursue this activity. Follow-through with it, your happiness depends on it. So no excuses! It is simple exercise, but most of us don’t take the time to do it.
